NLARx will host two panels at the National Conference of State Legislatures Annual Summit this summer. "Do Trade Policies Threaten Access to Affordable Medicines in the States?" will highlight efforts of the NLARx Working Group on Trade to make access to health care a priority in trade policy, and to protect low Medicaid prices. The second panel, "Data, Drugs and Disclosure: States Lead the Way on Pharmaceutical Policy" will present innovative state efforts to regulate predatory marketing, to require disclosure of payments doctors, and to ban gifts to health care providers.
