Welcome Journalists

NLARx, the National Legislative Association on Prescription Drug Prices, is a comprehensive resource for journalists interested in prescription drug policy at the state and national level. We are
working with state legislators throughout the country to advance innovative policies to reduce the cost of medicines and expand access.
We welcome contacts from journalists who are interested in learning about our activities and point of view, and in the activities of our legislative members and partner organizations.

Our staff is available to explain policy details, the real story behind legislation, and the big picture nationally and even internationally, as prescription drug policy increasingly is an issue in U.S. trade agreements. We also have contact information for
legislators in states throughout the country who are at the forefront of this important public policy arena and can give you on the ground information and analysis.

  • If you have a question we can help with, please contact Executive Director Sharon Treat at info@reducedrugprices.org or call her at 207-622-5597.
  • Our website is extensive and easily searched, featuring not only news items from around the country but also policy briefs and reports, legislation, testimony, and legal materials.
