  • Discounts of 15-60% off brand name and generic drugs for residents without insurance up to 350% of poverty
  • Paid for by both pharmacy discounts and manufacturer rebates
  • Law includes “hammer” provision placing drug on Medicaid prior authorization list if no rebate provided to Maine Rx enrollees
  • Upheld by US Supreme Court and US District Court
