The New Hampshire Health Committee chaired by NLARx member Rep. Cindy Rosenwald held hearings on an academic detailing bill (HB 1513) on February 12. Hearings are scheduled for February 14 before the House Commerce Committee on a bill banning gifts to health practitioners and requiring disclosure of payments and spending on advertising and marketing not banned (HB 1518). The disclosure bill is sponsored by Rep. Thomas Donovan and is based on the model bill developed by NLARx and The Prescription Project.
